Its official. Cedar Rapids has gone birthday party MAD! We are quite busy this weekend and stoked about it. Most parties are of our best seller, the Gold. Goes to show that a 6th ranked Iowa Football team as nothing on a wild birthday party at Planet X! Luckily, the parties are nice distributed throughout the day. Sadly we received notice this morning that the manufacturer is doing some testing on the Auto-Descent system. MSA has issued a stop use on all Descenders for a few days. There was NO INJURY ON OUR WALL. Hopefully this should be taken care of quickly and our wall will be back up and running by the weekend. Shucks! No UPS from our parts supplier today....... Slam a Winner is going to be down until Monday (hopefully when the new balls show up). You'll have to win massive amounts of tickets on another machine. Good thing we have 70 others! Come in and have a pizza, we've got the Hawks on our flat-screens in the cafe!

What a beautiful floor. 2 hours and three coats of fresh wax and the store has never looked better! Be careful with all the camera flashes for this weekend birthday parties, you're bound to blind someone. I promise, I'll provide pictures here eventually. Have to gear up for a busy day! Well tonight is quarterly wax the floor night. Yippee!!! Not really, have to close the store a bit early and put a few coats on the wax so she is nice and pretty for the weekend. Hopefully everyone notices? Can't have all these birthday parties without a beautiful store! We'll even throw some fresh pictures up when we are done.
